Brian M. Lyles

 

Brian M. Lyles is a native of Montgomery Alabama. He is a graduate of Alabama A&M University receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Education as well as a Masters in Secondary Education with a concentration in Instrumental Music. Brian is a band director at Challenger Middle School and Chapman Middle School in Huntsville, AL overseeing 200 students daily.

 

Brian served as the assistant to the director of bands and Chief Music Arranger for the Marching Maroon and White Band of Alabama A&M University for 10 years. He started arranging music for the University in 1998 with his first hit "Sucker for your Love" and has arranged hundreds of songs for the band over the past 14 years.  Mr. Lyles is Currently Assistant Director of Bands and Chief Music arranger at Stillman College.

 

Mr. Lyles composes and arranges all styles of music for various ensembles around the nation. Brian is currently working in the world of composition for film and will be collaborating on the  independent film entitled ‘Dormant’ as a composer.

 

Brian is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Music Educators National Conference, National Educators Association, Alabama Bandmasters Association, Alabama Educators Association, Huntsville Educators Association.

 

Brian is Married to Darlisia Lyles better known as "The Natural Violinist". www.youtube.com/user/thenaturalviolinist They have one daughter named Cadence who loves to dance. ‎
